• Make massage oils and skin serums with this versatile oil.
• Add a few drops of the oil into a carrier oil of your choice for a calming and relaxing massage oil.
• Blend 7 drops of benzoin with 1 drop lemon, 2 drops french lavender, and 35ml of carrier oil of your choice, use this blend on your hands, knees and other hard-working areas of skin, to keep them nourished and in great condition.

Directions for the use of Benzoin Essential Oil:

• Diffusion: Use five to six drops in a diffuser/ oil burner of your choice.
• Topical use: Apply this oil to your skin by mixing no more than 4-5 drops of this oil for every 5ml of body lotion or carrier oil. (Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil to minimise any skin sensitivity.)
• Essential oil perfume: Add 80 drops of carrier oil to an amber bottle (50ml+), With a dropper, add in 10 drops of essential oils that contain base notes, followed by 5 drops of headnotes, and 5 drops of heart notes, seal the bottle and shake well, label and store in a cool dark place.

• Avoid direct sunlight and UV rays for at least a 12 hour period after applying the oil as it is Phototoxic, which means that it can make your skin susceptible to damage like severe sunburn or blistering if exposed to sunlight, especially ultraviolet light, so please avoid exposure to the sun for at least 12 hours after using this oil on your skin.
• Avoid use if you want to concentrate as the Benzoin oil has a very relaxing effect on the body.
• A skin test is recommended prior to use.
• Dilute with a suitable carrier oil before using topically to lower the risk of skin sensitisation and or irritation.
