Kaolin Clay which is sometimes referred to as China Clay or White Clay is named after the Hill in China from which it was mined (Kaoling) for many centuries.

This Kaolin Clay is considered to be the most gentle for use on the skin when compared to other clays such as bentonite clay.

It is not as absorbent as bentonite clay but is still effective in absorbing excess oil from the skin and helps to leave the skin soft and healthy.
