Rose essential oil, (Rosa damascena) by dis natuurlik. is imported from Bulgaria, where the oil is made by steam distilling the fresh flower petals which produce an  essential oil, that smells intensely floral & sweet while slightly sour at the same time, bottled locally in South Africa.

Did you know? It takes an enormous quantity of flower petals to make this essential oil. In fact, it takes the petals of at least 10,000 roses to fill a 5ml bottle of rose oil.

This oil is produced in a highly delicate & intricate process that takes a lot of hard work and attention to detail, all of the harvesting of the flowers is done by hand before sunrise, whereafter the distillation takes place on that very same day to ensure that no fragrance or oil is lost and that the fresh floral aromas are locked in.

Rose essential oil has long since been used in beauty treatments and to treat health conditions for thousands of years and it works particularly well in aromatherapy blends with other essential oils like Helichrysum, Indian Sandalwood, Jasmine & Lemon.

This oil also has 7 surprising health benefits, read the rest of this essential oil profile below for a comprehensive look at this amazing oil and its uses.

Use caution when using this oil, all essential oils should be diluted before using topically.

Available in the following sizes: 20ml, 50ml, 100ml, 500ml, 1L, 5L, 20L, 25L
